Single Arm Davit

This single arm slewing boat/raft davit conforms to the requirements of various classification societies.

This single arm davit is a freestanding deck mounted davit consisting of a davit arm, column and winch. It is mainly used for lifting and lowering a boat/raft or other types of raft whose lowering load is not more than 25kN. The boat is lowered by means of remote control, the crew can release and stop the hand brake of the winch from the boat by wire connection to the brake arm and wire spool on the winch. Alternatively the crew can operate the hand brake on the deck. Slewing out the davit arm is realized manually by means of a crank handle.

The single arm davit has left and right version to fit customer needs.
